The Truden Alpine Advent Festival in the center of Truden will open its doors for the first time on December 5, with the traditional celebration of “Scheldern.” Within the framework of the Truden Alpine Christmas Celebration and during the “Reflective Advent in Church,” everything is an expression of the “Christ Child” and rich alpine traditions and customs. Feel the anticipation of the approach of Christmas – just like in days long past. The child-like excitement, the scents of Christmas in the air, Christmas carols, and South Tyrolean delicacies to tempt your palate. Not to mention the many charming, home-made handicrafts and gift ideas you’ll find there. The Truden Alpine Christmas Celebration will let you re-discover the joy of the Christmas season.

On December 8 and 17, starting at 5:00 p.m. in Truden.

The “Krampus Runs” have a long tradition in South Tyrol, and there are a lot of groups who – sporting masks and pulling funny pranks – participate. Because of the large number of groups and the great interest of the general public in attending, it became necessary for the local Krampus association in Truden to organize – parallel to the Krampus Day on December 5– a separate Krampus Run.

A night of spookiness and fun.
